Summer Reading Challenge 2020: Silly Squad

Hillingdon Libraries has launched the Summer Reading Challenge 2020, helping children to enjoy a summer of brilliant books.

Pick Your Challenge

This year’s Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge gives children aged 4 to 11 the chance to set a personal reading target while they’re away from school, in a new online version of this popular initiative run by libraries and The Reading Agency. The Challenge runs from June to September 2020.

How many books will you read?

Children can decide how big or small they want their challenge to be by setting a target for the number of books they want to read this summer. Any type of book counts towards the challenge.

To take part, create an account for your child on The Reading Agency’s dedicated website, SillySquad.Org.UK

Children can then use the site to record each book they read, post reviews, earn rewards and even download a special Summer Reading Challenge certificate.
